Black Ball Line

Puget Sound Navigation Co. ran ferries in Washington and British Columbia under the name of Black Ball Line.
The Washington operations were sold to Washington State in 1951, becoming Washington State Ferries.
Black Ball Ferries was then set up by Puget Sound Navigation Co. to operate its Canadian services and was also known
as Black Ball Line. The services were taken over by the government of British Columbia in 1961 and continued as BC Ferries.
