Handley Page Transport was one of the earliest British airlines operating on the London-Paris route, having begun its service in the autumn of 1919. It was one of the airlines forming Imperial Airways in the spring of 1924; the others were Instone Air Line, Daimler Airway and British Marine Air Navigation.
