Northern Consolidated Airlines - NCA

USA

*

Northern Consolidated Airlines was created in 1945 through the merger of 7 small bush airlines. It built up a network in southern Alaska, and added more feeder routes when Alaska Airlines and Pacific Northern Airlines dropped a number in the early 1960s. NCA merged with the other main feeder operator in Alaska, Wien Alaska Airlines, in April 1968 to form Wien Consolidated Airlines, which became Wien Air Alaska in 1973.
