Alia - Royal Jordanian Airlines, formed by the Jordan government in late 1963, took over from the previous part government-owned Jordan Airways. The interior of Alia's initial timetables bore a distinct resemblance to timetables of Jordan Airways, showing that Alia inherited not only its predecessor's Viscount aircraft.

The airline dropped Alia in 1986, to continue as just Royal Jordanian Airlines.
