Sverigeflyg was a holding company which started a number of regional airlines in Sweden in cooperation with local business interests. It became wholly owned by Braathens Aviation in 2011. The first airline started was Gotlandsflyg in 2001. None of the airlines had aircraft of their own; their routes were operated by Braathens Regional. Sverigeflyg and Malmö Aviation were merged with Braathens Regional to form BRA - Braathens Regional Airlines in 2016. |
